Fly Fishing School / Escuela de Pesca

Located 1 hour from Puerto Varas, the Orvis School operates on a 1000-hectare ranching and forestry farm. They are three artificial lagoons fed by a river that crosses the field. It works with 4 fully equipped cabins for 8, 6 and 4 fishermen and a barbecue area with a chef for 60 people. The lagoons have rainbows and brown trout of 1 to 2 kilos on average and although it may seem like it, fishing is not a bargain, it is quite technical for experienced fishermen in certain areas. The place is perfect for beginners, due to the spaces to practice casting, the contact with nature, the facilities and the team of instructors, certified by ORVIS. The courses are held during the off-season months. --- Ubicada a 1 hora de Puerto Varas, la Escuela Orvis funciona en una finca ganadera y forestal de 1000 hectáreas. Son tres lagunas artificiales alimentadas por un río que atraviesa el campo. Funciona con 4 cabañas totalmente equipadas para 8, 6 y 4 pescadores y un quincho con chef para 60 personas. Las lagunas tienen arcoíris y farios de 1 a 2 kilos en promedio. El lugar es perfecto para principiantes, por los espacios para practicar casting, el contacto con la naturaleza, las instalaciones y el equipo de instructores certificados por ORVIS. Los cursos se llevan a cabo durante los meses fuera de temporada.
